Room rates are subject to 16% VAT and 3.75% municipal tax. Check-in at Quinta GYO is between 3:00 and 10:00pm. Check-out time is 12:00 noon. Quinta GYO accepts only adults as guests and reserves the right of admission. No pets are allowed.
Reservation & Cancellation Policy
Making a reservation Quinta GYO accepts reservations by telephone at (+52) 739 395 3315 and through its secure reservations page accessed through the website www.quintagyo.com. Through the secure reservation page When made through the secure reservations page, the reservation must be guaranteed with a valid credit or debit card in the name of the guest. If the guest prefers to pay for the reservation via bank transfer instead of the bank card provided, s/he should notify the hotel by email (at reservations@quintagyo.com) as quickly as possible to request the necessary information. By telephone When made by telephone, a reservation must be guaranteed either with a valid credit or debit card in the name of the guest or by a bank transfer. Guaranteeing the reservation With a credit or debit card When the reservation is guaranteed with a bank card, the guest authorizes the hotel to charge the cost of the first night of the stay at any time after the reservation is secured and to charge the balance of the reservation up to eight full days before the scheduled date of arrival. In the case in which the bank card cannot be charged (due to insufficient funds, transaction not allowed by the bank, etc.), the guest may be contacted to rectify the problem or to provide an alternate means of payment. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the reservation. Via bank transfer (or deposit) If the guest wishes to guarantee the reservation via a bank transfer, s/he should request the necessary information from the hotel. When the reservation is made eight days or fewer before the date of arrival, the bank transfer must be for the full amount of the reservation. When the reservation is made more than eight full days before the date of arrival, the bank transfer may be for the full amount of the reservation, or for the amount of the first night’s stay with the balance due at least eight full days before the date of arrival, payable via credit or debit card or a second bank transfer. A guarantee made by bank transfer is valid only after the bank has confirmed the deposit of the funds into the hotel’s account. The guest is therefore advised to allow sufficient time for the completion of the transaction. If the reservation is not paid in full by the specified limit or if receipt of funds cannot be confirmed, the reservation shall be cancelled and no funds that have been deposited will be reimbursed. Cancellations and Modifications Cancellation or modification of a reservation is possible up to eight full days before the date of arrival with no charge or penalty. Any funds that have previously been charged or deposited to secure the reservation will be reimbursed. In the case of cancellation or modification fewer than eight full days before the date of arrival, in the case of early departure, or in the case of failure to appear; any unpaid portion of the reservation will be charged to the bank card used to guarantee the reservation, and no funds deposited to guarantee the reservation will be reimbursed. Special Holiday Periods The reservation and cancellation policies of Quinta GYO are subject to modification during certain holiday periods. The applicable policies will be displayed in the Terms and Conditions or Cancellation Policies on the reservation page. The policy displayed on the reservation page will apply to all direct reservations, whether made via the reservation page or by telephone, and will override any contradictory information found on the current page.
Policy for Extras
Additional services (Extras) Additional services (or, Extras) are subject to availability. The guest is advised to request any extra no fewer than two full days prior to the scheduled date of arrival. Quinta GYO will make its best effort to ensure that all requested extras are provided. In the event that the hotel cannot provide an extra, the guest will not be charged for said extra and will be reimbursed any amount that has already been paid for that extra. No other compensation will be made. No compensation (or reimbursement) will be made for any extra that the guest chooses not use. Once confirmed, an extra cannot be cancelled or modified fewer than three full days before the date of arrival. Beverage Coupons Beverage coupons are available up to two full days before the scheduled date of arrival. The beverage coupon is a virtual credit that is applied as a reduction to the bar tab at check-out. It is not printed and has no physical form. The beverage coupon is valid for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks purchased from the Quinta GYO clubhouse bar and served by the pool, in the bar, or in the guestroom. Service is available only during the operating hours of the bar. The beverage coupon is not valid for items to be consumed off the Quinta GYO premises. The beverage coupon may not be used for food items, spa services, extras, or tips. The beverage coupon may be exchanged for the value of applicable items and has no other monetary value. No compensation (or reimbursement) will be made for any unused portion (including the entirety) of a beverage coupon. The beverage coupon is not transferable and is valid only for purchases made during the stay for which it is purchased. Limit of two beverage coupons per room per stay.
Policy for Packages
Packages are available up to two full days prior to the scheduled date of arrival and are subject to availability. Quinta GYO will make its best effort to ensure that all components of a requested package are provided. In the event that the hotel cannot provide any component of a package, the cost of the package will be reduced by the prorated value of said component. If the package has already been paid for, the guest will be reimbursed the prorated value of the component. No other compensation will be made. Quinta GYO reserves the right to determine the prorated value of all package components. No compensation (or reimbursement) will be made for any package item that the guest chooses not use. Massages that are part of a package are subject to the Spa Policy. Extras that are part of a package are subject to the Extras Policy. Once confirmed, a package cannot be cancelled or modified fewer than six full days before the date of arrival.
Spa Policy
Spa services and the scheduling of spa services are subject to availability. Spa services may be requested at any time during the guest’s stay. Services reserved at least two full days before the scheduled date of arrival receive the discounted rate found in the Quinta GYO website and benefit from greater scheduling flexibility. Quinta GYO makes its best effort to schedule spa services to accommodate the guest’s preferences. In the event that the guest’s preferred time is not available, the guest is obligated to select an alternate available time. Refusal of the guest to accommodate the times available for package and pre-paid services does not constitute a failure of Quinta GYO to deliver the service; therefore, the guest will not be entitled to any reimbursement for the cost of the service. Once the scheduling of a spa service has been confirmed at the time agreed by the guest, it cannot be cancelled or modified fewer than three full days before the date of arrival. For spa services reserved and scheduled fewer than three full days before the scheduled date of arrival, including those reserved during the guest’s stay; once the scheduling of a service has been confirmed at the time agreed by the guest, it cannot be cancelled or modified. Quinta GYO makes its best effort to ensure that spa services are given at the scheduled time. In the event that a service cannot be given at the scheduled time, the guest will nevertheless be entitled to the full length of the spa service or to the reimbursement of any payment already made for the service. No other compensation will be made. The guest agrees to forfeit at full cost any portion (up to the entirety) of a confirmed scheduled spa service for which s/he is not present (for example, in the case of late arrival or failure to appear).
Best Rate Guarantee Policy
Quinta GYO will match the lower rate found on another website for the same stay and offer the guest a bonus during the stay. The guest’s reservation must be made directly with the hotel, either through the Quinta GYO website or by telephone at (+52) 739 395 33 15. The guarantee does not apply to reservations made through other booking services. The lower rate must be available on the internet to the general public. The following types of rates therefore do not qualify: group rates; corporate rates; government rates; senior discount rates; rates that are part of a rewards or loyalty program; rates that are opaque or part of an auction or flash sale; printed rates; and rates for stays that are purchased as part of a package (including airfare, car rental, restaurant meals, or other accommodations, etc.) The website offering the lower rate must be available to the general public and must not require a password for access. The rate comparison will reflect the base rates, prior to application of taxes and fees. The lower rate must apply to a comparable stay at Quinta GYO, meaning that the rate applies to the same room type for the same dates, with the same amenities (meals, complimentary items, package components, etc.) and the same payment requirements, restrictions, cancellation policy, etc. The lower rate must be available for booking at the time the claim is made and remain available for a reasonable period thereafter, to allow for verification. Errors (such as misprints) on third-party websites, which said website deems not to be binding, are excluded. The guarantee does not apply to rates published by Quinta GYO at any time after the original reservation was made (e.g., last minute specials). The claim must be submitted to contact@quintagyo.com from the email address used to make the reservation. It must include the guest’s name and reservation number, the dates of the stay, the amount of the lower rate, the exact URL (address) of the web page where the lower rate is available, and the details necessary (if any) to select the rate from the website. The guest is responsible for confirming receipt of the claim. The bonus offered during the guest’s stay is at the discretion of Quinta GYO. It is not transferable and shall be treated as a complimentary item which may not be exchanged for its monetary value. Quinta GYO will act in good faith in implementing its Best Rate Guarantee. To avoid potential abuse which might impede its execution, Quinta GYO reserves the right and sole discretion to determine the validity of all claims and the satisfaction of these terms and conditions. Quinta GYO reserves the right to modify or terminate the Best Rate Guarantee at any time without notice.
Privacy Policy
In accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, and in particular, articles 15 and 16 thereof, Quinta GYO, located at Antiguo Camino a Santo Domingo Ocotitlán 12, Valle de Atongo, in the municipality of Tepoztlán, Morelos, hereby states its method of collecting personal data, its use and its protection. The information requested may include: full name, address, telephone numbers, e–mail address, date of birth, federal taxpayer's registry number (RFC), passport number, nationality, license plate number, contact information, and credit card or form of payment information. Additional anonymous information collected may include interests, opinions and suggestions about the services provided. The beverage coupon may not be used for food items, spa services, extras, or tips. The beverage coupon may be exchanged for the value of applicable items and has no other monetary value. No compensation (or reimbursement) will be made for any unused portion (including the entirety) of a beverage coupon. The beverage coupon is not transferable and is valid only for purchases made during the stay for which it is purchased. Limit of two beverage coupons per room per stay.
Policy for Packages
Packages are available up to two full days prior to the scheduled date of arrival and are subject to availability. Quinta GYO will make its best effort to ensure that all components of a requested package are provided. In the event that the hotel cannot provide any component of a package, the cost of the package will be reduced by the prorated value of said component. If the package has already been paid for, the guest will be reimbursed the prorated value of the component. No other compensation will be made. Quinta GYO reserves the right to determine the prorated value of all package components. No compensation (or reimbursement) will be made for any package item that the guest chooses not use. Massages that are part of a package are subject to the Spa Policy. Extras that are part of a package are subject to the Extras Policy. Once confirmed, a package cannot be cancelled or modified fewer than six full days before the date of arrival.
Spa Policy
Spa services and the scheduling of spa services are subject to availability. Spa services may be requested at any time during the guest’s stay. Services reserved at least two full days before the scheduled date of arrival receive the discounted rate found in the Quinta GYO website and benefit from greater scheduling flexibility. Quinta GYO makes its best effort to schedule spa services to accommodate the guest’s preferences. In the event that the guest’s preferred time is not available, the guest is obligated to select an alternate available time. Refusal of the guest to accommodate the times available for package and pre-paid services does not constitute a failure of Quinta GYO to deliver the service; therefore, the guest will not be entitled to any reimbursement for the cost of the service. Once the scheduling of a spa service has been confirmed at the time agreed by the guest, it cannot be cancelled or modified fewer than three full days before the date of arrival. For spa services reserved and scheduled fewer than three full days before the scheduled date of arrival, including those reserved during the guest’s stay; once the scheduling of a service has been confirmed at the time agreed by the guest, it cannot be cancelled or modified. Quinta GYO makes its best effort to ensure that spa services are given at the scheduled time. In the event that a service cannot be given at the scheduled time, the guest will nevertheless be entitled to the full length of the spa service or to the reimbursement of any payment already made for the service. No other compensation will be made. The guest agrees to forfeit at full cost any portion (up to the entirety) of a confirmed scheduled spa service for which s/he is not present (for example, in the case of late arrival or failure to appear).
Best Rate Guarantee Policy
Quinta GYO will match the lower rate found on another website for the same stay and offer the guest a bonus during the stay. The guest’s reservation must be made directly with the hotel, either through the Quinta GYO website or by telephone at (+52) 739 395 33 15. The guarantee does not apply to reservations made through other booking services. The lower rate must be available on the internet to the general public. The following types of rates therefore do not qualify: group rates; corporate rates; government rates; senior discount rates; rates that are part of a rewards or loyalty program; rates that are opaque or part of an auction or flash sale; printed rates; and rates for stays that are purchased as part of a package (including airfare, car rental, restaurant meals, or other accommodations, etc.) The website offering the lower rate must be available to the general public and must not require a password for access. The rate comparison will reflect the base rates, prior to application of taxes and fees. The lower rate must apply to a comparable stay at Quinta GYO, meaning that the rate applies to the same room type for the same dates, with the same amenities (meals, complimentary items, package components, etc.) and the same payment requirements, restrictions, cancellation policy, etc. The lower rate must be available for booking at the time the claim is made and remain available for a reasonable period thereafter, to allow for verification. Errors (such as misprints) on third-party websites, which said website deems not to be binding, are excluded. The guarantee does not apply to rates published by Quinta GYO at any time after the original reservation was made (e.g., last minute specials). The claim must be submitted to contact@quintagyo.com from the email address used to make the reservation. It must include the guest’s name and reservation number, the dates of the stay, the amount of the lower rate, the exact URL (address) of the web page where the lower rate is available, and the details necessary (if any) to select the rate from the website. The guest is responsible for confirming receipt of the claim. The bonus offered during the guest’s stay is at the discretion of Quinta GYO. It is not transferable and shall be treated as a complimentary item which may not be exchanged for its monetary value. Quinta GYO will act in good faith in implementing its Best Rate Guarantee. To avoid potential abuse which might impede its execution, Quinta GYO reserves the right and sole discretion to determine the validity of all claims and the satisfaction of these terms and conditions. Quinta GYO reserves the right to modify or terminate the Best Rate Guarantee at any time without notice.
Privacy Policy
In accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, and in particular, articles 15 and 16 thereof, Quinta GYO, located at Antiguo Camino a Santo Domingo Ocotitlán 12, Valle de Atongo, in the municipality of Tepoztlán, Morelos, hereby states its method of collecting personal data, its use and its protection. The information requested may include: full name, address, telephone numbers, e–mail address, date of birth, federal taxpayer's registry number (RFC), passport number, nationality, license plate number, contact information, and credit card or form of payment information. Additional anonymous information collected may include interests, opinions and suggestions about the services provided. The purpose of obtaining the information is: to fulfill service obligations contracted by the guest; to maintain the guest registry; to contact guests if necessary; to complete reservation details, including transactions or verification of the credit card information; to obtain information on quality with the objective of improving services; and to distribute information concerning new services or special events. Quinta GYO agrees not to transfer personal information to third parties without the guest’s consent except as provided by the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and complementary laws and regulations. The Quinta GYO website may include links to external websites, the access of which is outside the domain of the Quinta GYO website. Quinta GYO assumes no responsibility for such third party websites. Cookies Cookies, small packets of information stored on the user’s hard drive, are used on the Quinta GYO website. They enable the proper functioning of forms filled out and sent by the user to Quinta GYO. No information is used for tracking, for third party advertising, or for any other purpose. The cookies used on Quinta GYO website are of the type, session cookies, temporary cookies which are deleted when the user’s browser is closed. In accordance with the above regulations the user has the right to refuse the processing of the information he has provided. To do so, the user must notify Quinta GYO by sending an email to contact@quintagyo.com, receipt of which the user may confirm by telephone at (+52) 739 395 33 15. The absence of such notification shall be construed as the user’s consent to the collection of data.
